For teacher license, the state of Iowa requires that all candidates pass a standardized basic skills test. Scores of 235 are required on each subtest of the English and Mathematics tests for admission to the Graceland University School of Education.
First time test takers are also required to complete the Science and Social Studies section one time. These scores are used as a baseline to assist you in the Praxis content knowledge test at the end of the Teacher Education program but are not required for addmission to the program.
Before taking the C-BASE, university writing, literature, and mathematics course work is suggested.
